Description	On June 19, 1910, Miss Julia Hoerner launched this gas balloon with Captain John Berry from an area that had been designated as the Missouri Aero Club Grounds, just west of the Woman's National Daily Building . This photograph was taken just as the balloon lifted off. Sandbags used for ballast, a drag rope, and an anchor are attached to the balloon basket. The Lion Gates are just visible on the left.
