Description | The Woman's Magazine Building and Press Annex were built in 1903. The Press Annex was redesigned in late 1908 by architects Eames and Young so that it more closely resembled the design of the Magazine Building, and to add a second story to provide additional work space. In this photograph, McCormack-Combs-Brainard Construction Company, construction company for the concrete work for the project, is conducting a test of the concrete floor on the second story. |
