Description | When Edward Gardner Lewis' People's United States Bank was closed in 1905, architect Herbert C. Chivers' plans for the intended building were adapted for use as the publishing plant for Lewis' newspaper venture, "The Woman's National Daily." In this photograph, workmen are building forms for concrete for the Woman's National Daily Building. Curbing is being installed along Trinity Avenue on the west side of the building. |
